Ingredients:
2 Cornish Hens, cleaned & salt and peppered on the inside
2 Jars La Maison Signature Sauces Savory Orange Sauce
1 Pkg (6-oz) Long grain and wild rice mix
4 Slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1½ Cup Water
How to Prepare:
Combine water and one jar of Savory Orange Sauce with package of wild rice and cook according to package directions.
Meanwhile cook bacon until crisp.
When rice is cooked, crumble bacon into rice and stuff hens with mixture.
Tie hens with string holding the wings to the body and closing legs to hold in stuffing.
Bake in 350 degree oven approximately 60 minutes, basting with Savory Orange Sauce every 10-15 minutes.
Test for doneness by pricking hens with fork. When juice runs clear, it is done.
Serve with remaining Savory Orange Sauce.
