Ingredients:

 

2  Cornish Hens, cleaned & salt and peppered on the inside

2  Jars La Maison Signature Sauces Savory Orange Sauce

1 Pkg  (6-oz) Long grain and wild rice mix

4   Slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

1½ Cup  Water

 


How to Prepare:

  • Combine water and one jar of Savory Orange Sauce with package of wild rice and cook according to package directions.

  • Meanwhile cook bacon until crisp. 

  • When rice is cooked, crumble bacon into rice and stuff hens with mixture.

  • Tie hens with string holding the wings to the body and closing legs to hold in stuffing.

  • Bake in 350 degree oven approximately 60 minutes, basting with Savory Orange Sauce every 10-15 minutes.

  • Test for doneness by pricking hens with fork.  When juice runs clear, it is done.

  • Serve with remaining Savory Orange Sauce.
