VEAL/CHICKEN SCALLOPINI 
MARSALA W/ MUSHROOMS

Ingredients:

 

1 lb  veal scallops OR CHICKEN
Kosher salt & cracked peppercorns to taste
2 Tbl  olive oil
1 egg, well beaten, set aside
1/4 cup  flour for dusting veal
1 jar  La Maison Signature Marsala with Wild Mushrooms
(Optional) rice or pasta

 


How to Prepare:

  • Preheat skillet on medium/high heat.  Add olive oil and swirl to cover bottom of pan.

  • Mix flour, salt and peppercorns in small bowl.

  • Dip each veal piece in egg, shake off excess egg,  and then dip directly into flour mixture.

  • Place veal in skillet and cook for approximately 1-2 minutes per side.

  • In the mean time, place La Maison Signature Sauces Marsala with Wild Mushrooms in sauce pan and heat on medium/low, stirring occasionally, until sauce begins to simmer.

  • Place veal scallops on individual preheated plates or on warmed platter.  Cover with sauce and serve.

    (Optional)  May be served over rice or pasta.
